Line faults
Communications South should be your first point of contact if a telephony problem occurs! Our 'Systems' and 'Network Services' Customers have peace of mind knowing that in the event of a telephony problem being recognised - all that they need to do is contact Communications South! We can deal with it.
Our aim is always to get our Customer's Telephones / Lines up and working again in the quickest time possible, and so limiting any disruption / loss of earnings! We also try to avoid our Customer's having unnecessary charges being applied by a 'Line Service Provider' (reasons being 'No Fault Found')!
Procedure when contacted is as below:
- We will initially run through some simple checks with the customer, to diagnose whether a suspected problem is the responsibility of the Line Service Provider, or if the issue has been caused as a result of a fault with the Panasonic telephone system! We are able to rectify 80% of reported problems in this way!
- If our faults team are not able to pin-point the issue, we can arrange for a qualified technician to attend site and process the fault further. If the issue is found to be with your telephone system, our technician will carry out the necessary work to rectify the issue.
- If it is a 'confirmed' line fault (in most cases) Communications South will be able to report the issue directly to the customer's Line Service Provider.
- We will keep the customer regularly updated until the fault has been cleared.
